After decades of playing tennis at a local competitive level, String Sense was started in early 2025 to solve our own growing dissatisfaction of skyrocketing stringing prices, long turnaround times, and inaccessible shop locations and trading hours.
Initially only intending to serve a small group of friends, String Sense quickly became a reliable option within the Sydney tennis community through our affordable prices, quick turnarounds, after-hours availability and friendly expertise!
We have since grown in both size and reputation, gaining invaluable experience stringing for ATP and WTA players at the 2026 United Cup alongside some of the best players and stringers in the world.
This year, we established official relationships with most major racquet and string manufacturers, including Solinco, Babolat, Head, Wilson and Tecnifibre - bringing the best strings, equipment and pricing to you!
We also only use the best stringing equipment, with all racquets strung on a state-of-the-art Wilson Baiardo machine (the same machine used in the US Open!)
